Convoluted Mortgage Fraud Theories
http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2007/12/convoluted-mortgage-fraud-theories.html
A number of people have all emailed me with a sensational but preposterous "Mortgage Meltdown" article by Sean Olender about the interest rate freeze.

Yes there is "fraud everywhere" as the article suggests, and yes the freeze "has nothing to do with keeping people in their homes", and yes, "The problem isn't just subprime loans", and yes a "mortgage meltdown" is in process.

But the rest of the article is complete nonsense.

Ron Paul: 25,000 Conspirators For New World Order
December 10, 2007 04:09PM
I guess some Conspiracy Theories are more acceptable than others:

Congressman Paul: " He asked if there was an international conspiracy to overthrow our government. The answer is "Yes". I think there are 25,000 individuals that have used offices of powers, and they are in our Universities and they are in our Congresses, and they believe in One World Government. And if you believe in One World Goverment, then you are talking about undermining National Sovereignty and you are talking about setting up something that you could well call a Dictatorship - and those plans are there!..."

Sure makes the Trillion$$$ RE Conspiracy look like small potatoes. I think Ron Paul, like any other US Citizen has a right to his opinions and to freely express them, just like Mr. Olender has the same right.

And here is one of Mr. Olender's many good opinions which was left out:

"What would be prudent and logical is for the banks that sold this toxic waste to buy it back and for a lot of people to go to prison. If they knew about the fraud, they should have to buy the bonds back. The time to look into this is before the shredders have worked their magic - not five years from now."

The first objective of a Perp who's been caught is to buy Time. So, amen, Mr. Olender. Keep up the good work.
