Lending Sentiment Drops Markedly

There is a huge reduction in both banks willingness to lend and borrowers willingness to borrow as shown in a recent Fed Survey. Affected are industrial loans, consumer loans, and commercial real estate. This is on top of a huge downturn in residential real estate. Attitudes are changing in a major way. This is a secular change not a cyclical one.
