I just read that Countrywide is under investigation for falsely advertising loan rates. There have been several reports that indicate aggressive sales and telemarketing tactics were used to get people to buy high-rate loans, when they didn’t even qualify.
Chances are, if you recently purchased a home loan from Countrywide, you were probably given a loan with high-costs and additional fees that are unnecessary.
